What side of the plane should you sit on to see NYC from LGA?
I am a fan of finding the best window seat on the flights I take… From above, I’ve seen sunrises, sunsets, moonrises, the Grand Canyon, the striking difference between New Mexico and Mexico, among others.
Here I am creating this very short blog post because I want to share with you all a nice pebble I found: The best place to sit on to see New York City from above is on a left window seat from LaGuardia Airport. You can see all of Manhattan in great detail from above, I even got to identify the building where I live in.
The pictures truly don’t make the justice and you should go see it for yourself. I picked a left window seat on both of my flights going to Miami and coming back from there. On my way to Miami, I got to see Manhattan from the west side, and when I was coming back, I got to see Manhattan from the east side. So get you’re camera ready and don’t forget to get a left window seat far from the turbine and the wing!
